Simply put, this doe just does not photograph well. I know that a lot of people say this, but it’s definitely true about her! She’s one that really dislikes being set up/shown, thus the amount of semi good pictures are limited. As a kid she was most certainly a wallflower, she just never seemed to catch my eye. Maybe it was because she was solid brown, although I don’t let color dictate who stays who goes, but my black does do tend to catch my eye first. She didn’t catch my eye until late winter leading into her yearling years, and she exhibited the most balance out of all my retained doe kids! She has retained that elegance and balance throughout the years, I’m hopeful with another freshening she’ll gain depth of real barrel along with higher production.
