Words can’t even come close to describing how excited I am for this young does future! She has all the strengths of her strong dam-line, with added refinement and dairyness from her sire. I said this same thing on her dam’s page, but it reigns true with Clover also. As soon as she stood up for the first time I knew she was going to be one of the most exciting does I’ve bred thus far, and in  her 2 years she’s proven me correct. As a dry yearling, she picked up her dry leg at her 2nd show out for the year! It’s a shame I wasn’t able to get her into the show ring in 2020, but she most certainly will be one that gets better with time! As a first freshener, she managed to hold her own in the milk room and averaged around 9.4 pounds of milk (barn records). She’s not just a pretty face though, she also has the best demeanor of the entire barn that she’s passed on to her two doe kids.

2022: This has definitely been this girls year! After freshening with severe milk fever I was just happy to have her standing in the barn! She’s knocked my socks off with producing at peak 16lbs of milk and currently averaging 14+ with only having 2 kids. Although she’s played the “bridesmaid” in the show ring this year, I know her day will come. I’m more then proud to have produced this extremely hardworking doe, that knows her “job” and does so well! Her daughters are already seeming to follow in her hoofprints as well, and we are looking forward to what her son BuckWheat adds to the herd!
