2022: Rue had an abnormal kidding this year. Although she had 1 healthy buck kid a week & a half early, it was discovered that she had one completely abnormal fetus/placenta as well. Through lab diagnostics it was determined that the fetus was lost due to toxoplasmosis, and it took Rue awhile to recover from it due to underlying infections. We are happy that she is back on track, and is slowly coming into milk! She’s a doe that is more then worth the wait & I am looking forward to her having a “normal” gestation next season.
